Just my quick and dirty little set up to mount a fish finder to a canoe.. On the fish finder’s bottom portion of the base, there is a flat surface where you need to drill a hole. the next thing is to use the mount screws and set it into the kayak. to make a stronger connection and give a lot more resistance on the back, use a washer on the backside.. I’ve been on the hunt for the best canoe fish finder, and here’s my main reason. there is little in life that compares to the relaxation of hitting some nice still water on a gorgeous lake in a canoe to do some fishing. its calm, the water is still, and the fish are not biting..
