Just my quick and dirty little set up to mount a fish finder to a canoe.. On the fish finder’s bottom portion of the base, there is a flat surface where you need to drill a hole. the next thing is to use the mount screws and set it into the kayak. to make a stronger connection and give a lot more resistance on the back, use a washer on the backside..
